I'll admit, he knows his stuff and is a great TD but makes a horrendous teacher. Yells and screams at students for honest mistakes and expects them all to be technical geniuses like him. True, he can be chill once in awhile, but that just means he's bipolar. How anybody can say they love this man is beyond me. Avoid, he's not worth the headaches.

Johan was a great professor. I was not expecting all the things in the course that there was. It was a difficult course. All you had to do was pay attention and read the book he assigned. Only one test during the semester. We had about two months to complete the final project which was also the final exam. Funny guy too. Overall a great professor.

Johan is a great TD but for the way he treated the class that I was in with him all I can say is we did not get paid enough for the treatment. I like Johan as a person but if I am going to be put down because of mistakes or have to listen to him put others down and not relax and be a "teacher" then I want to get paid for it not have to pay for it

better known as Johann the Infallible, this arrogant lanky man is quite possible the worst teacher I've ever had. He plays favorites among his students and makes no effort to diguise it; screams and puts down when mistakes made. Refuses to listen to reason, it's your fault no matter what. avoid.

Johan was probably one of the best professors I ever had the pleasure of working with. I changed my major from art to theatre because of his intro to theatre class. I learned SO much from his him - he's a phenomenal teacher.

When I first met Johan (freshman yr.), I thought he was the worst teacher ever. As it was, I was actually just quite lazy. By my senior year, (after I had changed my work ethic), he was a great mentor. If he's treating you poorly, you porbably deserve it.
