Comment:

Graphic Design 1 was the most challenging course to date for Mr. Aikmans classes. He had us overlapping two to three projects at a time as well as reading three books. I spent 5 to 6 days a week in the lab trying to keep up. He demands total commitment and grades fairly. The final was absolutely brutal. Looking forward to next term.

Mr. Aikman commands the respect of his students and turns mediocre artists into extremely competent Graphic Designers, mainly through the thorough understanding of Typography.

Comment:

I took his classes back in 2000-2001. I have worked in the industry and have used everything he has taught in this class and others I have taken from him. He is a hard instructor, but I guarantee you that your customers or employers will be much harder. Everything he does he does for a reason. His hands on knowledge is irreplaceable.
