Ppts are confusing and long: Skim them and make a list of concepts. Go through the book and read about them, and take notes from the book. Go back through the ppts for specific things not in book. Google also useful. Enjoyable lectures but unnecessary if you do above suggestion. You have to work more outside of class than in to get A. Don't Panic

Very hard instructor, but he knows how to make you learn. I learned more in one semester than I've learned in the two years previous to his molecular course. He doesn't spoon feed you the information in class. Instead, you need to read the text and be prepared for what he discusses in class because the course moves very fast.

I took Dr. Bush for forensic biology. He is the best teacher I have ever had; gives very clear directions and answers all your questions. Be prepared to work hard for your grades. He expects alot out of his students. His lectures are entertaining. After taking this class the subject matter of previous and future classes was much more clear.

I had him for microbiology, and he was pretty good, now i am taking him for molecular biology and he is the most horrible teacher i have ever seen. He wont help, i have never opened the book, his powerpoint is confusing, and the tests are very hard for the simple fact that he asks questions that you have let him know you are unclear about.

What a disappointment. Dr Bush was a pathetic teacher. I passed but I feel like a need to take the course again. HIs labs were torture, he could or would not even answer simple procedural questions when he was in the lab. We were left alone to do the labs alot of the time. AVOID him.

This guy is no teacher!!! I had him for several classes (No real choice). All he does is copy the text book pages and hand them out and read them in class. To make up for his lack of teaching ability/desire he has a huge grade curve. He thinks he is cool.

This guy all but skipped over Mendellian genetics and Punnet Squares in my undergrad genetics course. That's like skipping differentials and integrals in Calculus! Duh!!!
