He knows the material but the problem is that he has a hard time explaining certain concepts to students. I was able to do well on his tests since it was open note and book and I was able to learn the material from someone else. As for the Extend software, make sure you spend time learning how to use it. You will need it for the final project!

One of my favorite professors, great teacher, has sense of hummer, unlike other professors, cares about your understanding, and wants you to succeed.. Also, very understanding, if you talk to him and be honest.. I would defiantly recommend him....

Outstanding teacher and researcher. Has 40 years experience in industry and government work. Bring this industrial experinece from the real world into the classroom. All you have to do is come to class, pay attention, and do the homework to get a good grade. Average teaching evaluations for all classes are consistantly well above average.

He doesn't teach at all, but his class is extremely easy. If you want to learn something, you have to study by yourself. His test is extremely easy, and the test is exactly the same with the review. He is the GPA booster!!! :)

class sux...too bads its required for engineering he tries hard to teach but isn't very successful. the book sux...teaches as if you have had programming experience prior to the class...good luck if you are going to take it.
