Dr. Cope is a nice man however I do not recommend taking his class if you don't have time to dedicate to reading and re-reading the textbook. The tests are very difficult and there were only 3 with a slight curve. Made a C in this class and I have made all A's since I've been in college. If you can take with someone else, do it.

He's a funny guy, but his lectures are basically just him rambling about his personal stories and skimming the presentation. I never go to class, teach myself the powerpoints and read the book and I do great on the test.

He is really funny but curses a bit much at times. He rambles all the time and barely goes over his slides, and when he does its often very quickly and too fast to keep up with. Test are hard and it will be difficult to pass the class without reading or attending class.

Dr. Cope is so funny! He def knows what he's talking about. Taking this class with him would not be a bad idea. The tests aren't too hard and are the only grades in the class. He isn't afraid to cuss in front of students and will tell it like it is. Really, really good teacher.

Anyone can read slides and tell redundant stories - I expect a Ph.D. to actually teach. No need to go to class, and you won't miss anything if you don't. He may be okay working with grad students, but he sucks at teaching undergraduates. Boring class. Just another example why tenure should be eliminated. Time to retire Cope!!!

you do not have to show up to class. study power points but most of the test ?'s come straight from the book. you only have three grades in the class which makes it difficult to understand what the teacher wants you to know. great extra credit opportunities but good luck on the test! READ THE CHAPTERS SEVERAL TIMES!!!

Used lots of vulgar language. I wasnt to fond of that, I do not think cussing is a reflection of the real world like I assume he thinks. He imparts some real world wisdom on some of the younger folks in the class. Overall a good professor though.

Dr. Cope is hysterical. He tells the funniest stories and says the funniest things and then brings it back to relate to the topic. Incredible teacher IMO. His tests aren't easy but he curves a fair amount. Take him for Psych; Cope is Dope!

cope is the best teacher at ecu. his classes are so entertaining. He knows what he is talking about. tests are not that hard. great guy. lets class out 15 minutes early everyday. attendance not mandatory but u have to go to pass his tests. lots of notes though. Best proffessor at ecu by FAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WONDERFUL professor. Scared about taking a statistics course but he made it interesting. He makes the material easy to understand. The tests weren't that difficult. He is just an amazing professor. Makes the statistics class fun and interesting.. TAKE HIM!

Good guy, great class. You won't sleep thru him. Material is dry in the beginning, but he is not. Has real world knowledge and knows his stuff.
