If you want to learn, take him. He knows his stuff and will go out of his way to help you learn. He's also goofy, and some of his tangential rants help keep things lively. Though his classes aren't easy and you have to work for you grade, that 'A' is never out of reach.

One of the best bio professors I have ever had. This is one of the first classes I have taken where I felt like I truly came away with knowledge. I would recommend taking him if you want to learn, you need to study hard for the tests but he gives good partial credit too. Brilliant man- he seems to know everyone important in the bio world!!

Awesome professor! He goes through the book during class and talks about it. So bring your book and hi-lighter to class and follow along. As long as you read through the material and understand it, the tests will be fine.
