Pretty tough for an introductory stats class for STEM majors. Lectures were pretty convoluted and the book (which he wrote) didn't help much. Large portion of the grade is group worksheets, so find someone good at stats to boost your grade on these. Tests are basically the same as worksheets. Make friends with a TI-nspire and use it on tests

Dr. Greco clearly and simply teaches all concepts within the course down to the dot. Its more up to you as a student to do the practice problems and ask questions. He is all to ready to give back as much as you put in, but you have to put in the intiative in this class to do well. Gives practice worksheets that are almost identical to the tests

Worst math professor Ive ever had. He rambles on and on about things that arent relevant to the class. He will write a very basic concept on the board once and expect you to be able to apply it to hard problems. The final is cumulative and he doesnt review for it or any other test. Worst professor by far but If youve taken calc it could be easy

Dr. Del Greco is a great professor if youre actually willing to actually listen in class. Many kids in my class hated him because they were immature and wanted credit for the work they didn' do. He explains things in depth and can go on tangents, but they add to the lecture. I took math 131 before and I failed horribly. Dr. Del Greco changed that.

Del Greco is a tough teacher. If you like a classic math class with old dude that doesn't care about, you writing on a chalkboard all day then he's your guy!

Avoid at all costs, especially if you have never taken calc before. Classes are so boring and all he does is repeat himself. Only thing that helps grade is homework and pre test packets. Tests are not easy and the final, you may as well not study. Take another class or get a really good tutor.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! You will hate yourself for the entire semester and think about changing your major and dropping out of college every time you take one of his exams or get a worksheet assigned. totally do not recommend

Dr. Del Greco is an interesting man. He is rather soft spoken and spends most of his time going over example after example so if you understand the material right away, you really don't need to come to class. He is a fair grader and supports tutoring hours.

Professor Del Greco is a very poor teacher. Please steer clear if you can. He is rude to his students, mocks them when they make mistakes, and picks favorites. He gets angry if you don't understand or if you want extra help.

Avoid if you can. VERY picky grader. Lessons are thurough but he often forgets where he is in the middle of a problem/students constantly correct his mistakes on the chalk board. Nice man, but not the best teacher.

Dr. Del Greco is knowledgeable and his lessons are very thorough. The two-hour class periods were boring. His exams are very hard and not similar to anything learned in class. A lot of the students dropped out after the first couple exams. Overall, I would steer clear of him unless you are very gifted at math and ready to work hard.

He's very clear to the point of beating a topic to death. If you're good at math you'll find him a cinch, otherwise you'll have a hard time paying attention. Pros: Actually very clear Homework is basically what you can expect on the tests Cons: Boring AF coursework is challenging

Pretty clear when he's teaching. Follow him and your notes will be so great. I still use mine for some classes. But, his tests are nothing like his homework. They're very difficult and pretty hard to complete in the time you're given. His final killed everyone in my class. If you don't care about your grade, take him. You'll learn, but you'll fail.

Honestly Del Greco is not as scary as everyone makes him seem. His lectures are dry and long, but he gives the clearest most direct notes you will ever take. His homework is like the notes, and his tests are like the homework. Just show up, take notes, and you should do fine.

You would be better off taking any other teacher. It was a hard class and most of the time he was pretty clear, but occasionally he would do a problem completely wrong or get stuck and waste a ton of class time on it. I find class time precious and he wastes time stating simple things everyone understand what 3x * 1x equals... its calc 2 jeez

Due dates do not matter. Talk to him and he will be more than happy to negotiate no matter the excuse. He wants you to do well. To do well you need to complete and understand all mymathlab problems and all the problems on the practice quizzes. Although not mandatory the homework worksheets are also good practice. This class requires time.

Definitely not nearly as hard as everyone makes him seem. I was scared to take him based on these reviews. His lectures are crystal clear. His tests are identical to the notes. Go to class, take good notes, try hard on the homework, and there is no reason you can't get an A in his class.

Homework due every other day.... That's good. It helps to understand the material. Okay, cool. 6 definitions to memorize and regurgitate along with 10 TF questions per test? And the Final consists of double the amount of definitions and TF questions??! Maybe 6-8 problems were actual math problems! I honestly didn't learn anything.

Notes are clear & easy to follow when he does not mess up on simple algebra. Again his notes are clear but sometimes do not cover what is assigned on the worksheets. Gives horrible tests. For a course like diff EQ, he expects one to verbatim spit out defs and has TF on exams. Final exam consisted of 25 defs, tf, short answer, 5 actual math q's...
