Comment:

The best professor I've ever had. Lectures are very interesting (especially for being at 8:30 am). Dr. Forren stays unbiased throughout all of his lectures. Assignments are easy and he's a very flexible grader. He cares about students individually. The only downside is he gets super behind on the syllabus, but he doesn't worry about it.

Dr. Forren is very knowledgeable about what he teaches, and makes the lectures entertaining and engaging. Not too many grades in the course, but is very manageable. As long as you are in class, take notes, and stay caught up with the reading, you will be fine. Since the course was at 8:30 A.M. it helped a lot that he is such a cool professor.

Dr. Forren is one of those professors you know you're going to love on the first day! His classes are very engaging and he has such a good personality. He is funny and passionate about his class material and makes it very easy to learn. If you study the book and participate in class, you will do very well.

He is a great teacher but all we do is lectures, which is good and bad, sometimes very interesting. Make sure you show up and take notes. Very few grades. Do the reading on the syllabus. Overall nice and understanding professor, I enjoyed the class a lot.

Mostly lecture but he tried to encourage discussion which my class didn't do much. Grade based off of three test and some papers we wrote for Citizenship and Democracy week which is only in the fall. Because of that and it being an election year we had a lot of extra credit opportunities as well. I liked him pretty well and would recommend.

I had Dr. Forren over the summer so there was quite a bit of reading and homework but nothing was unreasonable and the midterm was easy so long as you paid attention in class and the exam was take home so it was a pretty easy A.

it's insane how knowledgeable he is on his field of study, ask him anything and he'll have a great answer. always helps if you need it. gives multiple extra credit opportunities. very easy to understand.

Very easy to understand. Got a little behind on materials due to how much he talks, but he reassured everything was okay. Likes to go in depth so we understand. Reliable for sources as well as help if asked. Feels sympathy for absences and allows early leave. Funny and sweet!

SO NICE!!! Would definitely recommend. Fair grader and doesn't expect everyone to be a poli sci genius (considering it is a miami plan class). I had a 3-hour block once a week with him and it wasn't boring in the least.
