He was honestly the most organized prof I have ever had. Since the course is hard, sometimes it feels like you learn too much in one day, however if you do your homework you'll be right on track for the next class. Do not skip all of his lectures are important. Also with a class like this you have to put in the work he makes it as easy as calc gets

Professor Gaspar may be my favorite teach EVER. He has his lectures and notes down to a science. Wonderful at answering questions. Never hesitates to go back over the board and reiterate what he just went over. Never had a math class be so crystal clear before. This man really deserves a medal. He is very smart, kind, all around great guy!

Professor Gaspar was the best professor I have ever had. If you struggle in math you need to take him. This was my second time taking algebra 2 and it was a breeze. He teaches everything that is necessary to pass and he teaches at a great pace. Next semester is his last semester so if you need to take a math class take him, you wont regret it.

Prof Gaspar was a good, you just really shouldn't miss class because your grade will definitely drop. I felt like his tests were harder than the homework he assigned so you really need to study enough and do all your homework or else that A will become a B or C.

Prof. Gaspar is an exemplary instructor. He teaches all the material really well, gives a small amount of homework problems (which are not graded) along with handouts showing step-by-step solutions. He's very kind, approachable, and super helpful during his Office Hours. His tests are not hard at all if you master the HW. Take good notes though.

One of the most amazing Math professors!! As long you take notes and go through the homework problems which are not graded, you'll succeed on the exams. Also, Go to his office hours, clearly shows you step by step solutions to any problem one has!! Note: He'll be reitirng very soon so take him ASAP!! Made Calc 2 a favorite Subject!!

I LOVE prof Gaspar. He is such a great professor and nice person! He's extrememly helpful and his notes are perfectly organized. I took him for pre calculus and for calc 1 and he is extrememly clear and fair grader. You can tell he cares about his students success. Listen to his advice and you will do VERY well!

Gaspar is a great professor but be ready to actually work for your grade in his class. His notes are super clear and informative and as long as you do the homework he assigns, you should do well in the class. He is also willing to go over topics from previous courses briefly as well, which helped me a lot personally. Overall a very clear teacher.

John Gaspar is by far the best teacher for Mathematics that I have ever had. His notes are crystal clear and is a very fair professor. I took him for 129B (Precalc B) and 131 (Calc) and his teaching style is solid. As long as you keep up with the work, do your homework, and show up to class you'll do fine. Overall a great professor, would recommend

Very very nice man. He explains everything. He gives background information to every topic learned in class so you can easier understand the material. He helped me out a lot I almost didn't pass ( not BC of his teaching but BC precalc is not an easy subject)! He helped me though don't miss a class , show that you're willing to learn & you'll pass!

Had him but dropped his class as I realized Calculus was not for me but nothing to do with him. Asked him for as much help as possible with Calc hw. A very good professor. Can teach very well.

Professor Gaspar is a great teacher. I took Algebra 1 with him and I learned a lot. I'd highly recommend taking him, I'm definitely going to again. He cares about his students and takes the time to explain and answer any questions. He'll get you to participate at least once during the semester, so be ready to get called on. Take him!
