While his class is a bit of a slow crawl at first, he teaches you everything you need to know to make a proper speech. He's extremely chill all throughout class unless you're not paying attention or are on your phone the entire time. He's pretty funny and a very fair and easy grader. You don't really need to buy the text.

Awesome guy to take for Speech, he knows everyone is there because they need to be, not because they want to be. Makes lots of corny jokes and gives good feedback on speeches. He also says to buy the text, but don't waste the money. Have fun in his class, show passion for your speech topics, and it's impossible to fail!

One of my favorite professors at SJU. Really funny and cares for all of his students. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THE TEXTBOOK- YOU WILL NOT NEED IT!!!! He provides all of the material and there is barely any homework. TAKE HIM IF YOU'RE NOT SO FOND OF PUBLIC SPEAKING, HE'S AMAZING!

Do what you need to do. Follow his guidelines for speeches. Take-home assignment with multiple choice and true/false questions that makes you go into the reading and find the answer. Very helpful! Funny professor and can do impromptu speeches with ease. Good feedback on speeches and doesn't try to make you feel bad about a speech even if it was bad

Best speech teacher ever! Take him he is really nice and funny and genuinely tries to help you. You have 5 speeches in total which are very simple and he gives you flexibility on when you want to present. Gives great (funny) feedback and knows how to teach. Easy A!! (Don't buy the book it's a waste of money you won't use it)

Very funny guy. Easy speech course, and this is coming from someone who despises public speaking. He makes it very clear what he expects of you, and he grades pretty easily overall. The final is simple and take home. Do NOT buy the textbook. Would most surely recommend this professor to anyone who wants to take a introductory speech course.

Give credit just for showing up to class. Just show up because most of the time you can just sit there on your phone. If you don't want to try hard in a public speaking class take this one. It is like you're presenting a project every speech. He is a pretty easy grader. When he talks in class he talks forever. He says buy the textbook, DON'T.

Easy A! I am a straight A student and I got an A in his class. Never bought the book. No midterm and a take home final. Take home final was super easy but extra long! 5 main speeches. Treats you like a baby. Just show up for your speeches or else he gets mad. Don't make excuses either!

omg this professor is horrible! do not take him at all. You waist your money on a textboom that you dont use and cant sell back and he is always late by at least 20 minutes and still decided to "teach" when he gets there. Avoid this class at all cost!!!!!
