Professor Golden is the best professor I've had so far at Stonehill. He's always full of energy and really makes us think in class. As a history major, his course on literature and translations was vital to my studies. Would definitely take again!

I can honestly say Proffesor Golden is like no other person I've met before. He's really quirky and is always making jokses, he can put a smile on your face. The reading is heavy and fast paced and your grade is essentially based on 3 essays. No final exam and little graded homework. Very tough grader only likes things his way, he's very precise.

He's a really great guy but it's hard when you don't understand what he's explaining. You can ask him questions but he just seems frustrated that you didn't understand the first time around. He's very available and open to help you, just don't expect him to go slow with the material.

Throughout the years I have stuff led greatly with learning languages, he has helped me greatly with learning this language with ease. He makes sure you understand the material fully. I love this guy, if you want to learn a language he's the guy. If you're afraid of taking a language because it'll be too difficult, he makes it easy. Unique person

I have been taking German with Goldman for the past 3 years and love his class. I couldn't imagine a better professor to teach German. He's hard on students at times but he's just pushing you to work harder and engage yourself.

Golden is the best!! He makes the class so funny and entertaining! Foreign Language has never been my strongest but he is willing to help anytime of the day. He is always in his office and I could not help but laugh in every class. 2 exams and a final with small quizzes throughout the semester. Participation is important and know your dialogues!

I took his Elementary German class for 2 semesters, and I learned more then than during 4 years of high school Spanish. Attendance is crucial though, because you learn everything in class through mandatory active participation. Golden is funny, entertaining, and very kind. An excellent professor.

Love Golden. Caters to all types of learners. Really smart guy and knows his stuff - do the work, try hard, and show that you're working. He appreciates that. He is the only reason I became a German minor. He makes you work for it but he's a great professor

Great teacher, and interesting but hard class. Professor Golden wants you to learn. His classes are very fast-paced, and expect to do a lot of work outside of class. You have to leave class everyday and study what you just learned in order to keep up.

He's a really nice guy, very entertaining. You won't fall asleep in his class. I didn't like the material we read...weird German lit & poems, and he grades really tough. Homework every night consisted of just reading.
