Great professor. His lectures are never boring and he is pretty entertaining. His tests were generally over lecture material (although attendance wasnt required) and overall really easy if you study.

Dr. Hayden is an extremely good professor. He made every lecture very interesting and easy to understand and remember. He is rather entertaining as well. All tests are handwritten, so if you can memorize facts relatively well, you'll be good to go. Had this as an early class and I never got bored or tired.

Had him for World History and absolutely loved him. I've always hated going to history classes, but I actually wanted to go to his class. Everything you need for the test he puts on the board. As long as you study your notes, you'll do just fine. Makes the class a lot of fun and easy to understand. I HIGHLY recommend him.

In my opinion Dr. Hayden is the best history prof. on campus. I love his classes. I have taken twelve hours so far with him and would recommend him to anyone who is remotely interested in European history. He puts everything on the board that he wants you to know for the test. Be warned, though, he does not like to be interupted during a lecture.

Excellent instructor. Makes class fun and exciting. Passionate about what he teaches. Test come directly from lecture. He writes notes on board. Copy and study and you will make an A. If you miss a day have a friend in class you can get notes from or your screwed. Also gives page in book with definition need to know for test. Fun class!!!

As a history ed major, I had several courses with Dr. Hayden, and I highly recommend him as a professor. His lectures are energetic and entertaining. His essay exams are straightforward. He tells you beforehand exactly what to expect on exams. During my four years at SWOSU, Dr. Hayden stands out as the best and most memorable professor I had.
