Have had him for both H1,H2,& H3...this guy makes learning easy. yeah he can ramble but alot of it is interesting, easy multiple choice tests right from lecture, and he gives out a study guide and if you go to the study session he will tell you EXACTLY what is on the test, u just have to study(if u don't like work I would suggest a 2yr college)

Great teacher! Tries to make class humorous. Haven't read the actual textbook, but for his book quizzes you should read over the books. Spark notes won't help. Gives answers to the tests before at study sessions. GO TO THEM. Interesting when he makes lectures into stories. Knows what he is doing! TAKE HIM!

He is very nice and understandable. He is one of the best teachers i have had on campus. Note: if you get to know him, like sit in the front and go talk to him in his office hours he will be your best friend and give you advanatages, because you are working and he can tell. recomend him :)

Take Humanities with Higdon!! Very easy class and you learn quite a bit at the same time. Always willing to work with students and has a sense of humor. 4 non comprehensive exams and a few quizzes over books. Always has a review session before each exam which is very helpful!

He is the greatest professor ever..what he lectures on is what is on the test, and he also has study sessions which are helpful if you don't remember or understand something. 4 tests non comp, and 4 quizes over little books(hamlet, candide, Utopia..)TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HIM!!!!

If you can manage to get into his class do so. He is a fantastic professor who cares about his students and the subject he's teaching. He also has quite the sense of humor that makes class really interesting. It sucks that attendance is mandatory but he is so energetic you won't be bored for most of the class periods anyway. Hilarious and helpful. VERY friendly and kind. Although graded on attendance, lectures are interesting so you really want to go anyway and you can always miss class twice without penalty. No essays, just books.

Higdon is amazing. I love him. His class is easy, engaging and entertaining (if you make it). Go to the in-class review sessions and you will know essentially all the questions on the exams. He's so understanding and helpful. You can make up tests later. He knows his stuff. All around nice, caring, great prof.

Amazing professor! He tells you exactly what you need to know for the tests... I never once read my textbook and will get an A. He is very helpful. I recommend him!
