Hoch is the best, plain and simple. He expects from you only the best. His class isnt about an easy A that you get from memorizing material, but about how you can take the information you learn and relate it to your passions. Hes an inspiring intelligent man. Take his class if you want to actually think. Its worth it.

Doc Hoch has lots of great stories, and he's incredibly intelligent. He also thinks everything's a conspiracy, and is radically liberal. He definitely opens your eyes to new ideas, which is something other Mass Media profs don't do. Loved the class!

the class was easy but the amount of work was just bothersome. In total you write near sixty pages of things you'll never use again in real life, which is lame because the class is a requirement.
