Dr. Jenkinson is awesome! He always has a hilarious story to tell the class and is overall pretty chill. He is an easy grader too (his 101 and 102 classes are probably easier than my high school English classes). In addition, he is very wise and everyone should take his classes!

I really enjoyed having John as a teacher. Definitely one of my top favorite teachers, and almost all his other students would agree. Even fun to just hang with. Some think he's a bit rough to be around, but that's usually because they can't tell when he's being serious, and they take offense at something comical in nature. Highly recommended.

Great teacher. Had him for Creative Writing. Cares about the students, cares about the material. Very encouraging and will help you to further your skills beyond his class. The need for the books in his CW class are nonexistent, though. You read something in them maybe once, then never again. The syllabus uses them, but you never really do in class
