Terribly boring lectures. No class interaction/ discussion. When people ask good questions, he gives by-the-book answer. Essays are killer, write 12+ pages by hand in class for both midterms. But is frustrating for writers, as he grades better for bad writting. I got worse grades for writing better. BUT No Homework, Tests, & lets out 1h early.

We had no homework except for book notes, which didn't get turned in until the end of class and only 2 essay exams and the final, and we knew the topics ahead of time for all of them and we could write a first draft and use it, and one book review. A lot of reading, but alot of people didn't read any of it or did book notes and got an A. Easy class

He is a very mellow teacher. I would say this class is moderately easy... since I'm a poopoo writer and I have turned in all the essay tests... I still manage a "B" yayYY~ I would say this class is pretty stress-free.

He's a good teacher. Tests & assignments are essays but he gives you the topics ahead of time so you can pre-write them before hand! The essays helped me learn a lot. Lectures are pretty basic (powerpoint) and he goes slow and will answer your questions. He will e-mail you the lectures if you ask!

Its only an easy A for those willing to try to succeed. But for those who hate essays, then this class is not for you because virtually everything is essay-based from midterms to homework to journals. No multiple choice tests at all!!!
