Horrible teacher. Acted like we were supposed to come to class knowing each new subject 100percent and so he'd only review it and not actually teach it. I got an A in chem in high school and B with a different teacher in college - obviously it shows something.

Horrible teacher. Always claimed to be available for extra help but rarely would be. If he made time to help you he made you feel stupid and like you were wasting his precious time. I changed majors because of his awful classes

He is pretty quiet, but after you get used to that and his occasional rants about organic chemistry, he's a good teacher

Nice guy and decent professor. Always said he was available for outside help but not always in the best of moods when you would find him. Expectations were crystal clear when going over a practice exam but lecture powerpoints not so much. Pretty boring most of the time. Less than 15 people went to lecture when he took the clicker points away.

You can really tell this O.Chem is his passion. People complain about Keller because they don't know how to get by in college level classes. Like any other class, you need to attend lectures, ask questions, and study. He's very clear about what concepts he's going to test on each exam. Talk to him outside of class, he likes it when students stop by

Keller ain't so bad. A) He's a nice guy. B) He's very clear about expectations, and generous about grades. C) He a chemist to the bones. Sure he rambles some and his examples aren't always so apropos - but learn how to learn from him, and you will. He's one of the good guys.

Teacher knew a lot about the subject; he does make students feel ignorant about questions some of the time; lectures are useless, only good for clicker questions; uses PowerPoint presentations heavily.

Not interesting during lecutures, I felt as if I wasnt learning while he spoke. I had to learn most of the material on my own... and his tests kill.

Professor seemed very passionate about the subject, however, not a good teacher. I would NOT attempt to take this professor in 100 level classes. Lectures did not prepare you for test at all. Tests very difficult compared to content in lecture. Attendance required, but didn't make a difference in ability to pass class.

Relies too much on Powerpoint to get through his lectures. Passionate about his focus, but impartial to anything else. Shows little respect for his class and cannot manage groups. Exam difficulty is on a completely different scale than rest of class. Classes are useless, but attendance is graded anyway. May be better for Organic Chem.

Goes through powerpoint slides waaay faster than humanly possible to take notes, and sometimes acted like we should have already known the answers to questions we were asking. Although I, too liked the idea of dropping the lowest test grade, and having re
