He was a very nice easy going guy. However, the class was a bit hard. Exams questions are set up to trick you so do the study guides they really help. Only 3 exams and 2 quizzes and thats it there are no other grades to help. Only one extra credit opportunity. Very boring class that was sometimes interesting.

I took this class as a distribution requirement. Although I didn't like the subject or having to do any of the reading, Prof. Klemanski wasn't bad. He is very good about balancing the amount of work he assigns each week (which is rare at OU). His mid-term and final are no joke though. Take this if you're a PS major, otherwise I don't recommend it.

He's a good professor but the class is incredibly boring. Outside of one project, the entire class is made up of lectures. They're all online, which is nice, but you lose points for not attending class. He is helpful if you have questions, material wasn't tough, but it wasn't really an exciting class. This was during the recent election cycle, too

Had him for 2 classes, this one and PS327. Very nice to talk to, classes were extremely boring, read off of power points so attendance didn't seem necessary. Don't feel like I really learned anything in his classes. If you get a 90% or higher he gives you a 4.0 but getting a 90% was not easy at all.

Klemanski was overall pretty boring. He posted all the lectures in power points online so there was really no reason to go to class (I still went). There are 3 exams worth 30% and 1 online quiz that is 10%. As long as you do the writing and study hard it is a fairly easy class, that being said, I am a political science major and I found it boring.

I was expecting this class to be a little less dry and use more daily examples. Pretty much your run of the mill powerpoint/lecture style. He likes class discussion. Do not miss class or be late- not because you'll miss information but because he is all about attendance. You need the text book for literally one assignment.

Overall it's a super easy class. But the book is a must have with this professor - many things that he touches on in the ppt are not very well explained. But it's not really worth going to class though - he's very much into what he is doing and will debate with a handful of students all hour. There are only 3 test total, nothing else to help grade!

This guy is the best! Some people hated the class, but I loved it! He's not one sided, and is totally willing to poke fun at anything involving politics. He breaks down difficult concepts, incorporates recent events, and gives memorable examples. Klemanski also does not give difficult exams, so if you pay attention, you're sure to do well!

he is very good prof. he encouraged me a lot, and he is very helpful and nice person. In the beginning of this class, I was very scared because we have a group presentation, so I talked to him about how I feel, but his respond was very very good for me, he encouraged me and he told me that the presentation is for fun, so don't worry about that.

He is a good guy, classes are BORING, i don't like skipping class but he has all the power points online and when he has a review for a test he puts it online and that's all you pretty much need to get at least an 80% on it.

Great Professor! Although the course does involve work, he provides study guides and readings to help you understand the lectures. Always notified you of major assignments and exams way ahead of time. His lectures were easy to understand, and he was always willing to stay after class or meet with the you if you had any questions. Great guy!

Perfect prof for online class. Weekly questions without required commenting. Few papers with clear instructions and sources provided. Do the work and you will get a good grade.

He is a very knowledgable professor who is willing to help you in class or outside of class. Knows quite a bit about local politics. Take some time to get to know him, it will help in the long run. Definitely recommend taking this class for PS 100

I enjoy politics but really had no interest in the class, however loved the prof. Usually spends the first half of class engaged with students and talking about current events! Loved him! Material kind of boring and repetitve, but all over enjoyed the class.

Very good guy at heart, but his classes make no sense. Get off on tangents, doesn't include all exam material in powerpoints. Grade is exam based and exams make little to know sense. I'm a 3.8 student and got less than a 3.0 in his class. He's a great guy, but his class is not the best.

seems like a nice guy. his lectures and Powerpoints don't seem to help you out too much on exams. i think reading the book would be of more help in getting a good grade. a friend of mine had mono and went up to let him know and see what she could do and all he did was back a way from her and look disgusted to be around her. tests are difficult!

Good professor who is incredibly understanding when it comes to missing exams if you email him. Take some time to talk to him and get on his good side if you are a poly sci major. He is well versed in local politics and has written a number of books on such. He attempts to make jokes to entertain the class, some are humorous while many fall flat.
