Best science class I've ever taken, and that's saying a lot. Your success in the class depends on your character; if you take the time to stop and learn the material on your own instead of blindly following others, you will do well. Dr. Lamb teaches very clearly, his lectures are entertaining, and he prepares you well for the test!

I walked into 105 hating chemistry and walked out of the final absolutely amazed at it thanks to Doctor Lamb. I'm not saying that will happen to all of you but Doctor Lamb is an incredible professor. Explained things clearly. Is organized, funny, and nice. He wants you to get an A you just need to put in the hours and want it bad to get an A.

Professor Lamb is great. I think this was his last semester teaching though. Expect daily work, i'm not exaggerating, DAILY, or else you won't do very well. 4 tests, lab quizzes, online homework, and in-class quizzes. and also I heard the departmental average for the chem department is supposed to be a 2.7, but you can do well if you try.

Dr. Lamb was great! I wasn't a huge fan of chemistry before but he really helped me to enjoy it. Like everyone else says, the class is rigorous and requires a ton of work. There is homework everyday but it will prepare you for the tests. If you take chemistry, take it from Lamb.

Dr Lamb is so fantastic. This class is HARD, don't get me wrong. I have never received a lower grade on a test than I did on the third midterm. It killed my GPA, but it would have been much worse and much less interesting if I had taken it from anyone else. Don't recommend the class, highly recommend Lamb. Frequent explosions. Singed ceiling. *****

I took this class once before and really struggled. I got the lowest grade of my academic career. When I retook it, I took it from Professor Lamb. I LOVE the class. I understand what is going on and did really well in the class. Absolutely recommend him. *Class is not easy, just well presented*

Professor Lamb was a great teacher. His class was tough, but he does everything he can to help you get a good grade. It takes a lot of work to get a good grade, but if you do the problems out of the back of the book, then you will be ready for the test. I highly recommend him!

Best science teacher I've ever had. Not only in college but in my whole life...Explains difficult concepts clearly and the class is very well organized. You know what you need to do to perform well and there are no curveballs. Class is a lot of work but he's the best professor that teaches 105.

The rumors are true! Lamb is the way to go. Not only has he been in the department for years and years, he is still crystal clear on the subject. IT'S A BEAST OF A CLASS. So do whatever means necessary to take it from Lamb. You'll understand the material much better than other professors- I would know, I visited them all prior to taking this class.

Dr. Lamb is amazing, very clear, tons of help, and he is funny and interesting. This is a hard class, you will do well if you do exactly what he tells you to do. Study his slides, rework microexcams and LC sheets and do all your homework and you can get a high A. Do not take this during heavy semester! Don't take Chem 105 from anyone but Lamb!

Professor Lamb made chemistry so exciting everyday. The class was challenging but he was there every step of they way to help and assist you in any way he could. I felt that although it's probably the largest class on campus, my personal needs were met. He is such an awesome teacher. I loved him

Prof. Lamb has been teaching this class for a long time and you can tell he knows how to do it. Good explanations, lots of demonstrations, and the whole course is extremely organized. My only complaint: to do well on the final exam I spent nearly 5 hours in the testing center... I don't think that's ethical :P

He makes the class enjoyable and fun as well as teaching effectively. Lots of resources available that really help. Tests are a beast, but with TA reviews, homework assignments, and quizzes, you have plenty to study and it prepares you well if you put in the effort.

This class is a beast but you can do well if you do the work. Dr. Lamb is very good at explaining things, he has the best TAs and you can succeed if you follow his lead. He is very organized. Put in a lot of work, do not take this during a really heavy semester, and practice, practice, practice. There are no surprises on the test, very fair.

Dr. Lamb is an amazing teacher. He really knows what he teaches and he is more than willing to answer any questions. The class covers a ton of material. Attendence is not mandatory but if you desire a somewhat good grade then go to as much class as possible.
