Dr. Lannon is an amazing prof. He doesn't let you just slide by and as long as you keep up, you will see such an improvement in your writing. Plus, he goes out of his way to get you thinking about your future.

Speaking as a long-standing member of the Lannonites, I highly recommend him for anyone interesting in Tech. Comm. or Rhetorical Theory. Now that Ray Dumont isn't there anymore, Lannon is king of the UMD Enlgish Dept. hill. Serious, he's a terrific Prof

Probably one of the best professors on campus. His classes are laid back, but you learn a lot. Be prepared to do a fair amount of writing, though. He is very understanding as well and is always willing to help out.

Prof. Lannon is the MAN. I had him for Intermediate Comp. and a graduate class in Rhetoric and Writing Styles (or something...) He was very helpful and illuminating. His anecdotes are terrific, too. Go out of your way to have class with Prof. Lannon!
