As do not come easy. But, if you want to succeed, attend office hours. Mammalian Anatomy is a tough course so be sure to have fun while you're at it because if you are a health major, courses will only get tougher. Study hard, work harder and don't be afraid to ask questions. He's not as mean as he makes himself seem.

Mr. Long likes to use first day scare tactics, but he's actually hilarious and willing to do anything to help you pass. His class is purely memorization, so as long as you show up, stay in the lab to study once he's done teaching, and come to open labs, you will easily get an A.

Mr. Long is the best! He made anatomy so much fun and a class I'd love to take over and over again with him. He makes the material so much fun to learn and always keeps you interested in what he is teaching. He is also so willing to help and will stop at no end to do everything he can for any of his students. Definitely one of the best professors.

Mr. Long might come off a little bit crazy at first if you have never taken him before. After being in his class for a couple of hours you will realize he is only doing it to help you learn. I would recommend this professor to anyone. I wish I would have chose him for more classes. If you want to learn and have fun at the same time take Long.

Awesome and cool teacher! Easy course as well. Make sure to attend open labs though! He is so helpful, if you have a question during an exam, he will pretty much give you the answer. He tries to act all tough the first day, but he's a total sweetheart! You will love him, trust me! Just make sure to be prepared for lots of memorization.

Awesome Teacher. Very clear, and loves joking around in class. for lab, BE SURE TO ATTEND OPEN LABS!!!!!!!!!!!! theres A LOT of memorization. dont go in to the class thinking you arent going to have to work, its a tough course, but if you put in the time, youll see results. anyone should be happy with a B or higher.

He's not the worst teacher in the world, but it seems his concerns are aimed at making people laugh rather than learn. He makes it seem like his class is harder than it is, it's just a bunch of memorization, just go to open labs and you will do just fine. You almost never spend the entire class period in class, he likes to take smoke breaks.

BEST PROFESSOR I'VE EVER HAD!! LOVE HIM! The class is difficult but he really wants you to learn. He's extremely helpful, just ASK! Don't be afraid of his loudness, because he's a big softie! Turn off your cell phone in class, he will answer a ringing phone (know from experience)!

Loudness and overuse of class participation was a turn-off. Used prettier girls in the class as examples (ie would call on them over others). Also tends to be a flirt, in a smarmy old man way. Ew!

He's very fair about this being a non-major's course and doesn't make us remember the nitty gritty details. Very nice guy and he has a genuine interest in the well-being of his students. Doesn't curve, but his expectations are just right to make the class enjoyable and very much passable.

Makes Anatomy fun, but expects students to be dedicated. He expects a lot from his students, and will keep pushing you to do better on lab exams. Expect a love hate relationship with him. Open and always willing to talk to students about problems in anatomy or life.
