Gives 2 practice tests that were extremely helpful. Gave the best final exam review sessions that I have ever been to. Runs a tight ship but is very clear with expectations and is very fair.

Very intelligent (& caring!) man who knows his stuff. He's not easy - the reading assignments are heavy and he expects a lot out of you in class when called on. But you will really learn the material as long as you do the reading and pay attention in class. He gave 2 practice exams which was helpful. His final exam review sessions are dynamite.

After many years out of the academic arena, law school was quite a challenge. Initially, Prof. Lynch can seem intimidating but he really cares about the students and their success. Federal Civ Pro is not an easy topic to understand much less teach. I feel a bit smarter for having had him my first semester.

Fantastic first year professor. I feared this class for the first two months because of the method he used to call on students. Excellent knowledge of the material, highly-organized classes, yes material can be confusing but Lynch does an impressive job relating complex topics to the students. Can be a harsh grader, but it is law school afterall.

Great Professor!! it's hard and boring material but he makes it easier to understand. He really cares about students and is helpful in office hours. GO TO LAW SCHOLAR AND FINAL REVIEW WITH TAPE RECORDER. If you pay close attention to his lectures - he gives you the exam questions and answers in his class => just spit it back at him on the exam.

Professor Lynch is an excellent professor, especially in his upper level elective classes like Federal Jurisdiction, and will go out of his way to help his students understand the subject. And, he's written the book on Md Civil Procedure - so you really are learning from the expert when you attend his first year CivPro course.

Has been doing it a long time and has it packed down. Not the easiest professor but very caring and will go way out of his way to make sure you learn. Do his prior exams. Go to his scholar's review. You will learn what to do on the exam FROM THE SCHOLAR. You will learn CivPro from Lynch.

He goes off on tangeants; he also will intentionally go deep into a concept and then say, "but you don't have to worry about that for the exam." Difficult to understand, but students find him amusing.

Lynch really cares about his students. He's an interesting guy and constantly provides practical real-life examples to Civ Pro concepts. Very interesting and knowledgeable. Stays on top of current developments. He is the ONLY 1L prof. who gave exam reviews and they were life-savers! Katie Noonan rocks - utilize her! She puts it in plain terms.

If you go to the review session, you will learn exactly what you need for the final exam. I took Tax after AmJur'ing CivPro for this reason alone. Great guy but scared the daylights out of me as a 1st year, which I think he does on purpose.
