Absolutely the worst professor I've ever had. He will not work with you out of class. He does not appear to care for whatever inconvenience occurs outside of class. If assignments are not done in the most specific way possible, he will take off an unreasonable amount of points. Avoid taking him, if possible.

Probably the worst teacher Ive ever had. The curriculum was extremely vauge, he didnt teach he just sort of talks at you about completely irrelevent things for and hour and a half. Super boring. The second day of class there was a pop quiz on grammar rules he never went over, written in broken english. I should have dropped right then

He's the worst professor I've had at the School of Communication so far. He's horrible. I feel sorry for the people who had to take him twice. He's unclear about what he wants and the pop quizzes can kill your grade. He can be a bit rude when you ask him to clarify. Expected better from someone who "loves" teaching.

First teacher to make me rate him. Honestly one of the worst professors I have ever had. Not only can barely understand him with his accent, he stutters a lot as well and it as if he has no idea what hes talking about. One class he completely forgot to come in to class, and later emailed the class saying that he forgot there was class. The worst.

It is nearly impossible to do well in a class taught by this professor, especially higher up in the major. He consistently takes off points for things that were never discussed in class (he never even lectured on how to do the final project). I don't recommend him to anyone logical because you will not get along. Incredibly frustrating.

I was nervous about taking this class because of his reviews but it turned out to be super easy. I think if you take the class online you are more likely to do well. We have a total of five test and five reflections about the chapters. The reflections are graded really easily. The tests are based on the textbook so I recommend getting it.

He gives you good feedback and seems to genuinely care about you. On the last exam he gave us a free bonus question. I would advise you to take him during the summer rather than during an actual semester.

Professor has strong accent which can be a language barrier, he doesn't give homework but a few pop quizees throughout the semester so don't skip class or it can bring your grade down. Exams are 80% so if you fail them, you fail the class. Tough grader, exams are from the book only and nothing discussed in class. READ! my mistake :( group project

Unorganized, Rude, Unclear, Not helpful. All his assignments had different due times, so it was very unclear when to turn in assignments. His assignments were unclear and some had missing information to complete the assignments. Avoid him if you can.

He is a great human being and funny guy, but not a great professor. You have to do one group presentation in front of the class. Our textbook wasn't published until about a month into the semester so I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. Lectures were boring as he pretty much reads off the slides, will occasionally go on tangents.

He's a nice guy, but extremely unorganized & gives boring lectures. He's not an easy grader, but not really that tough either. We wrote a lot of scripts & pitched scripts in front of the class. Could be unclear at times as he has different preferences than the book. Final was tough, just pay attention to lectures & things he points out in the book.

The worst professor I've ever had. He teaches only by a textbook he writes. In the first month of class we had no book. By the time we had our first exam, still no book. The tests have nothing to do with what you're taught. You're only graded on 3 tests and a group project. The group project is you and about 10-15 other people. It's horrific.

I kind of thought he was given a bad rep by my fellow students. Yeah he can be boring , but just take notes or even take pictures of the slides and there is no reason that you can't get a B or an A. Just show up to class and you'll be okay. There are FAR WORSE professors than him. Easy class if you just put the minimum effort and show up to class.

The class average on each online exam was a 90(!), until the final exam, which at the last minute was switched in-class, which the average fell to a 66, what does that tell you? That being said, the guy is a terrible lecturer, very inaccessible to students, the material is unfocused, and btw he's running for President of Congo. Look it up.

Worst class i have taken at UCF! I felt like i didn't learn anything since he just rambles in the lecture about stuff that isn't even on the test. He is very unclear about what to expect and doesn't help you understand. if you email him he doesn't respond and if you go up to him in class he will circle around the question leaving you confused.

This was probably one of the worst professors I have taken at UCF. His class was extremely unclear and decided to switch the final exam to in person three days before exam day while all other exams were online. His lectures and textbook do not correlate at all to what is on the exam. Avoid this class at all costs if you can.

I've never had a teacher who could make a class so unbearable. Its a large lecture hall and he loves to give out pop quizzes 5 minutes before class ends that are worth 80% of your grade. All of his tests were online and then he changed the date of the final last minute and made it in-person. The group project at the end was a disaster for everyone.

One timed group project at the end of the end of the term, starts timing you b4 you are ready to show your presentation. He is a jerk, all his exams were online but decided to change our final exam to be in person! so many people have their flights booked to go back home for the holidays, and counted on the final being online. he is the worst.

Dr. Malala is highly educated and underrated. He has a respectable attitude, good spirit, and makes us laugh in class. Talk to him after class but emailing may not guarantee a response. Random pop quizzes count for a good grade but lecture isn't crucial for passing in itself. He does whatever he can to save us from buying the book. One of the best.

This class is easy but the professor is unclear and you never know when to expect a discussion. The syllabus did not reflect what we did week to week. There are no lecture/modules. You just read the book, written by the professor. Tests aren't hard, easy A if you read. This professor does the bare minimum, the TA was more helpful.
