This guy was pretty cool. His exams weren't too difficult and he didn't ask for a lot. No homework, but there was extra credit every week. The final was only the 4th exam and was not cumulative. I honestly skipped class often and I passed with a good grade as long as I got notes off of someone. I never used the book.

He was a very good professor. His lectures can be a little boring, but he tells a lot of stories from his life that are funny. Didnt really use the book, although for 3 out of 4 of the exams, there was material we were supposed to read that he wouldnt go over in class. He also offered extra credit every week.

Dr. Mullennix is very nice and helpful. I had him for the first time, after hearing many good stories about him, for research methods. Well, I now know the good stories were true! The class is a bit challenging, but he is always around to help. I agree that he is very down to earth and approachable. I recommend him as a professor!

Great professor. Tells ridiculous and funny stories... weird stuff happens to him. Tests are hard, no homework, you have to write a few papers that aren't difficult, grades easily. I don't recommend this class but I do recommend him as a professor.

I took his summer class at Pitt main and loved it. I can easily say this is the most fun and interesting class I've taken at Pitt. He has great stories to tell to relate to the material. His tests are pretty easy and he is a very very understanding guy (you dont find that much in professors). If you have to take Psych, definitely take Mullennix.

If you can get past the initial shock of nose ring and tatoos, this is one of the coolest professors; he'll keep you awake through a 3-hr. lecture; gives great handouts, fair tests and grades; take him and he won't disappoint.

I really enjoyed this class. He really went into depth on some very interesting things about psychology and the mind. He held my interest the whole time. He was very amusing and very generous with helping those of us who needed it. I must add very patient for the students who "didn't get it " the first time!! I hope to have more like him!

I had to take Intro to psych over again in the summer, and I figured it was going to be as boring as when I first took it, but it was wayyy better. He made us remember stuff from all his personal stories which really helped during exam time. I wish he permanently taught at U. Pitt. Great Great Professor!!!
