This is not an easy class but you can succeed if you try. Dr P is very helpful if you ask but he has no sympathy for freeloaders. I wanted a better grade but I was failing at first. I probably deserved the D I got but I learned a lot. I will stay in touch with him

i didn't know what to expect, just ready to graduate. I failed the first test and my project was going nowhere. I started reading the book and listening to his audio lectures. He has a pregrade for the project and my team failed. But his feedback was clear and he helped us a lot. We were able to do a decent job. Wanted a B but a C was ok.

By far the best professor in the school of business. He's not the easiest, but you can make a good grade if you put forth the effort. Don't skip class. He knows the material well and it's a lot harder to learn it on your own. I discovered this the hard way on one exam. Take the teamwork seriously. He is very approachable if you need help.

Dr Parnell is the best professor at this university. He knows the book inside out and can explain it on any level. He has a lot of energy in class and is available to help outside of class. The tests aren't easy but they are what you expect if you follow along in class. The project is a bear, but he tells you exactly what he wants and offers help!

I usually log in to rate my problem professors but Dr. Parnell deserves a plug. He is not easy, but he knows what he is doing and is well organized. He's very interesting and is willing to help you if you are willing to do the work. He is the best professor in the school of business by far.

Great professor. He's the only non-socialist in the college, so he actually thinks through all angles of a subject and will actually prepare you for the REAL world. . . not the fake world most other professors prep you for.

One of the best teachers UNCP has to offer. Be sure to take him. Teacher is very helpful and gets right back to you. First course ever that discusses current issues- finally. Very clear class presentations, even provides audio. I've gotten a lot out of this class. I didn't think it was all that difficult. If you do the work, you'll be fine.

very thorough, nice guy, will go out of his way to help if you ask but won't bug you if you don't- you decide. knows the book inside out, reads the wall street journal and knows current issues. one of the best classes i had but not the easiest. other guys teaching the course give better grades.

just finished his course, he is not easy but it's not a secret what you need to do to pass his course. if you don't do the work you will get nailed. if you follow instructions you'll do ok. I barely got a b but I didn't study for the first test and failed it. i learned something in this class, unlike some of the others.
