He was a good professor. Hes really funny. He loads you with homework on VHL. He speaks Spanish 95% of the time and sometimes talks super fast but will go back and explain if you need him too. He does have a Spain Spanish accent.

This class was very difficult for me. You are given 4+ hours of homework sometimes twice a week. By the time I had finished the homework I was so tired of Spanish that I didn't want to study the class notes. The book notes are different from the notes he gives. Don't get me wrong, he is a funny and nice teacher. But his teaching style wasn't for me

Dr. Parrack know his Spanish very well. The downfall is he grades too hard. I already knew everything from the class. My mom is a spanish teacher so I already knew a lot. He counted down on things he should not have. He is a goof teacher and I kept up but 80% could not keep up. Do not take 1330 unless you know more than just basics of Spanish.

He doesn't seem to care about his students, he remotely gives large quantities of homework, which he might tell you about. He's basically punching a time clock. He gives a lecture, assigns homework and then you're on your own. He might be a nice guy if you didn't feel constantly condescended.

I took Dr. Parrack last semester. The class was very difficult and a lot of work, but he was great! He was always willing to help. His class is not one that you can pass just for showing up. Don't take him if you aren't willing to do your work!

Having taken Dra. Parrack in the fall, I was expecting Dr. Parrack to be prepared to pick up the class in the spring. He didn't know what we had covered, and I wasn't a fan of his teaching style. I didn't feel like he was approachable, and his tests were very difficult! DO YOUR VHL!! I missed a few deadlines and my grade went from an A to a C!

I love Dr. Parrack. He is so much fun to be in class with and I couldn't be happier to have had him for my first college Spanish teacher. Make sure you do the homework on time and study for his tests and you'll make an A. Also make sure you do the enrichment activities on time! My whole class had to scramble to get them done.

hilarious teacher and class. He will take off points if you don't attend class. LOTS of online homework, but you do some of the activities during class. very helpful in explanations and wants students to pass. must study. if you have two years experience you will be PERFECTLY FINE

I loved Elementary Spanish in Review with Dr. Parrack. In my class, he was high-energy, quirky, and very engaging. He makes us talk in class, everyday, encouraging the command of Spanish as a language. The clarity of his lecture really requires you to meet him half-way (he talks in Spanish frequently). Do your studying, and you should do well.

I'm sure if the people in my class were more intelligent Dr. Parrack would be a better teacher. But as it is now, he is very vague and has an incredibly weird way of doing things. The other day he told us we didn't need to understand the words we were saying as long as we could make the sounds. I think that is ridiculous. Not my favorite professor.

MUST HAVE BOOK. Lots of hw but it ends up being on the test. He has an odd personality and can be a little boring. The class isn't too hard but you do have to study for the tests and actually read the book thoroughly. Expected to speak near-perfect Spanish at all times.

Professor Parrack is an excellent teacher, and he is funny too. He makes class interesting and makes spanish learning easy. Read your book before you come to class and always bring your book to class, and you should be just fine.

Dr. Parrack is such a great professor. He makes everyone in the class participate but not in an embarrassing way. You're so busy all during class that you may feel like you're not learning anything in there, but then you realize you are. He's also hilarious! Take him!

I had to take this class for my liberal arts degree. Parrack is extremely energetic, but sometimes his gradings are a bit harsh. We have three tests. Also, homework is a must on quia. We also have two compositions. And also a oral exam, which was on the difficult side. Spanish has never been my subject, but Parrack seemed to make it fun.

As soon as you hit the upper levcel classes Dr. Parrack's ease disappears. Be prepared for getting a lower grade than usual. He knows his stuff but makes it extremely difficult to get an A. Good luck and Godspeed...

Dr. Parrack is one of my favorite professors. I have gotten all As in my college career and I got an A in his class too - but I had to work for it. As long as you go to class and keep up with your work an A is easily attainable. I highly recommend this fun, high-energy teacher! You will learn a lot and he is a great guy!

He's incredibly energetic, helpful, and knowledgeable. That said, it's not a walk in the park to get an A. But it's very possible if you regularly study. You'll enjoy his sense of humor very much... he's very witty.

Awesome professor, one of my favorites I've ever had. He's so energetic and makes you excited about the subject. He's really funny too. He stays busy nonstop in the class though, we get so much covered in there it can be pretty tiring! I would give this class a medium difficulty rating. I cannot call him difficult but I wouldn't call it easy either
