I personally enjoyed his teaching style. It's basically all lecture. He's very engaged and is usually open to wherever student's questions lead to. The lectures aren't dry, though the readings for class can be a little hard to follow at times.

I loved Patridge and all of his courses. I went out of my way to audit his courses bc he's that good. I do admit that he's not for everyone. I found his jokes and discussions to be hilarious but if you're not a nerdy person who appreciates philosophical thinking and jokes, you might be bored by him. He's also a tough grader but you will LEARN!!!

Professor Partridge is a great teacher. I had no interest in Philosophy but I needed another class so I took his. He's really funny, really understanding and he makes his class really interesting. He also goes out of his way to help his students in any way he can. Definitely a great teacher :)

Preofessor Partridge is the most entertaining professor I've ever encountered. My friend and I have a notebook dedicated to quotes from him that still crack us up. His lectures are like spoken essays, he's so eloquent and fluent. Although the readings can be dull, Partridge is incredible...and adorable!

had about 6 essays and 3 tests- not that bad- really. tough grader when it comes to correcting the essays. he's clear most of the time- willing to hear your opinion. you'll do fair if you just rely on his teaching- you'll do better if you actually read and understand the books. great guy- fun and passionate about what he's teaching

9:30 is just too early for deep philosophical discussion...very passionate about his job but a bit of a tough grader- participation is KEY- you'll get away with not reading for one class but make sure you DO read or you won't do well on the papers, exams- I liked this class a lot
