horrible professor. he droans on & on about nothing and useless information. you will not learn much about the culture of the native americans. it is true that once you disagree with him he dislikes you for the rest of the semester. i advise to stay away if u do not want your IQ to dwindle

JBR does lecture quite a bit, but he has some really great things to say if you listen. He has some really cool assignments, like museum visits and narratives. Make sure to read the outside books (i.e. House Made of Dawn and Ceremony) more so than the actual texts because they are the focus of his exams. He's a sweet man, and I enjoy him.

BORING, i had the class from 830-10..we use to get there early to get a wall seat to sleep, the test are hard, he would give us the same test 2 or 3 times so there were good grades, lots of reading, trips downtown

I agree with some of the things said about trying to argue with him in class. But overall he's a pretty nice guy. If you get assignments from him that have length requirements, follow them. He takes off points if he thinks answers are too brief.

Way too much work for a religion class, the workload is completely ridiculous. This class was by far my biggest workload and waste of time. Required museum trips and essays were assigned at the last minute. REALLY REALLY BORING. Horrible class, dont take.
