I think it's surprising that so many people have such a hard time with him. He's one of the best math professors I've had at UCI and I can easily understand him. He really makes the class interesting unlike most other professors. The only faw I can find with him is that he doesn't collect hw. Don't be afraid to take his class.

Seriously, DO NOT TAKE his class!!! the worst instructor ever. He uses his encrypted language that nobody can understand. Straightly copies from the notes and doesn't explain concepts between steps. Class depends upon TA. PLUS, worst choice of Text Book, ever!!!
