With unnervingly energy and a flair for shouting through lectures while jumping around the room, Professor Sloop holds your focus. He is completely ridiculous and I loved it. There was never a dull day in class, and never a time when I wasn't challenged. An A is possible, but only for the hardest workers.

Engaging class discussions, thought provoking subject...basically you will be writing papers for any of his classes, and he is a hard grader, but totally worth it for all you will learn. Very helpful, humorous, and just a great class! He takes attendence and participation is a HUGE part (20%) of your final grade. Hard A

Well at first Sloop seemed to be grading easy but as the semester goes on he expects the speeches to be better and grade accordingly...BUILD A GOOD POLICY...overall, I enjoyed Sloop as a teacher and this has been the only class that I never missed/never wanted to miss.
