John is very intelligent but his classes (all of them, he teaches many of the Rad tech classes) are very difficult. He moves quick in lecture, it's beneficial to record his lectures. His quizzing methods are unreasonable and the workload is very heavy in all of his classes, but this really makes you study hard and you'll learn a lot. Be prepared.

When asked what was going to be covered on the exam over ch 1-5. He said, "Chapter 1-5." Without this demand for effort, I would never have passed the RAD Tech program! Hard as h_ll! And well worth the effort. thanks john!

He's generally not a bad man. He seems intimidating, but will help if asked. Physics is tough..just tough no matter who's teaching it. It's not a class where you just learn minimums and expect to pass. You MUST have a THOROUGH understanding of the material. It's kinda pointless to rate him on this class anyway because nobody else teaches it....

John teaches like it's a PhD class. I passed, but it was pretty hard. It's not a matter of studying. You can study forever and still fail. You have to be intelligent. If you're a B,C student, then don't even bother taking him. You won't pass. He is really smart, but pretty cynical about life. Don't even try to be nice to him, just do the work.

FACT: About 29 students started the class. 9 students took the final; so I assumed the rest dropped. No review for the test, no outline, no extra credit. OPINION: If you don't plan to read the book and study the book long & hard, don't take his class. Only about 30% of his test are from lecture. Tests get progressively harder.

This guy was terrible! Very hard and I was an "A" student (1 B in 16 classes) and I failed this class with his horrible methods of teaching. Does not thoroughly explain anything completely which leaves you guessing the rest. AVOID this guy AT ALL COSTS!!!

John is a teacher that I believes is here to make the students fail. He is not helpful at all. Does nothing really during lab but stand around until you call his attention to ask questions. Once one on one he is pretty good. If you want to pass this class, show up EVERYDAY! Test are very hard. I studied everyday and still got a D on my first.

He was very difficult. His lectures were long and very boring. IDK about him needing to tell what's on the test, but if he wants us to UNDERSTAND the material, he isn't doing a good job getting through. Mostly everyone failed or dropped his class. Thinned out a lot towards the end. I barely got a C. Took Ryan for 122 and got an A.Useless during lab

john stachler is not a bad man. the physics that he is teaching is difficult and he is trying his best to let you understand so that you will be able to pass the registry exams. appreciate him and stop writing bad stuff about him. past students have had 100% pass rate for the registry exams. what would it be like without him?

Loves to see you fail. Other profs. in this class offer students study guides and seem to understand information. Whereas no one in Stachler's class understand what is going on. DON'T depend on your syllabus. It means nothing in is class. Tests are sometimes bumped up ahead of schedule. Unfortunately you have few options for this class. Take Ryan

teaches from only his notes but won't give you a study guide or even problems from the book to study from- students are expected to memorize every word from both his lectures and the book, with no help from him, and i mean this literally. in labs he sits and reads the paper and doesn't instruct at all. avoid this man's classes at all costs.
