Comment:

Beyond boring, especially at 8 a.m. and will drag class on until the last second no matter what it takes. You HAVE to read the textbook every day before you come to class because of pop quizzes that come very often and your grade counts on these a lot. It's not that bad if you like to read 60 plus pages for one class every day.

Lectures are long, he gets boring fast. He is monotone during the whole class, hard to stay focused in class. If you want to pass, you have to do the reading everyday, gives pop quizzes frequently.

He is a smart individual, but has absolutely no clue how to get the information in his head across to his students. He Speaks in monotone and has no flow to his lectures. He jumps from topic to topic and has a tendency to be very unorganized when presenting the material. Basically he makes what is, can be, and should be easy way to difficult.

I took him for Southern Literature and loved it. He does have a tendency to be monotone, but if you can focus, the stuff he's saying is very interesting. His grading is a little tough on papers, but as for assignments it's basically 100 for participation. I also found him to be very helpful any time I had a question.
