Comment:
He tends to make references that go over everyone's head, but he raises a lot of good points and covers a lot of material in one semester. That said, the course should be more than 2 credits for all the work required.

Comment:
Thacker is bi-polar or something. He can be awfully grumpy one day but helpful the next. He means well, but he's getting old and I get the feeling that he doesn't like teaching as much as he used to. He's inaccesible out of the classroom. For the amount of work, this class should be 3 credit hours.

Amazing teacher, great personality. Very fair, gives extra credit opportunity as well as extra help sessions outside of the classroom. High recommended, he not only explains things well but he has a great sense of humor which helps to break up the class. Keeps the class interesting, one of my favorite teachers!

He's an alright teacher. He talks really slowly, but explains decently. Gives a huge load of in class "pop" quizzes on the readings. Has a fairly good sense of humor at times too.

Thacker knows and immense amount and is very intelligent. But, he lacks good teaching skills which is what he is really being paid for. He is to stubborn and stuck in old fashioned methods to make the class more interesting and reasonable.

Comment:
Grading is done in an illogical way. Class made to degrade student. Syllabus says something about students coming to class to receive grades. This is in order to explain his unfair way of grading stuff.
