He doesn't do office hours, rarely responds to emails, he doesn't go over the content thoroughly, and there is a lot of paperwork. All he has you do is watch videos in his class and then online simulations during the labs. I hardcore recommend not taking his classes. I would never take him again.

Comment:

I took this course online in a condensed summer version, so it averaged 3 quizzes every 2 days. The cool thing was there were no required textbooks, and you got to watch a lot of NOVA documentaries ps. Transcripts are available to read which is faster. It goes by fast, but you can work at your own pace! I loved the format and enjoyed the class!

Hes a nice guy, doesnt require attendance, you dont have to buy a textbook and tests are online and you can google the answers. Its a lot of videos, not super exciting, but its the easiest college class Ive taken. I got an A even after failing the final. Just show up get the answers for the videos & labs and google the test questions.

Every day you watch NOVA-type videos This class is a joke, exams are hard and labs are online simulations and research. He gives almost no lectures and doesn't teach the material needed for exams.

seems like he is just here for the job and does not care about educating the students. he is just an advocate for the internet. we watch videos. he skims through the slides. overall not a good teacher. however, he seems like a nice, easy going, approachable guy. his teaching style just needs a little work.

I'm literally writing this during my physics class because I am fed up with him not teaching. This is a general physics class and he his teaching at a way higher level. He doesn't write out steps and his tests have nothing to do with what he talks about in class. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. 75% of the class failed the first test and he did nothing.

Professor gives you multiple chances to do assignments however doesn't grade them prior to the end date so you don't know if you need to try again. Assignments and due dates aren't clear and will not respond to emails. Also, he does not offer office hours so you are basically on your own. In a 7 week course waited til the last week to grade.

I took the class online. He's assignment heavy and be prepared to be completely on your own during this class. I emailed him numerous times to answer simple questions I had, no reply whatsoever. His assignments are all over the place, be prepared to do some sorting out of work and what is expected of you.

Hard to follow his lectures because he knows the material so well that it seems like he forgets that we don't. DO YOUR LABS, GO TO CLASS, and PRINT YOUR SLIDES, Keep EVERYTHING. There's too much material to cover in one semester, IMO. He'll help you understand something if you just ask him. Very approachable & reasonable. Grades on a curve.

This guy is a dope with a degree. Literally blah-blah-blahs for ten minutes about his nephew or his last trip, throws up some slides that I'm not convinced he put together himself because he's always like "Oh yeah, and-" Super boring, I've never fallen asleep in class before this. Lame teacher. Lame class. Save your money for a better class & prof.

There is literally two things you do in his class, watch movies and watch him read off the notes on D2L. He doesn't add anything else to the lecture just read them off word for word. He knows his stuff but he doesn't do well at explaining anything. If you email him a question don't expect a reply within the next day, it's usually 3-4 day wait.

just bad. not much more to say. He doesn't even teach, you just watch movies. Multiple times I went up to ask a question and he was playing on his phone and i had to wait for him to finish then he looked annoyed and never really answered my questions.

He's a nice guy, but honestly needs to work on his teaching skills. His lectures last thirty seconds and then he directs you to the PowerPoint slides which are all online. Expect to watch videos almost every class period and feel dumb when you take quizzes online that correspond with said videos. The material is easy, but you teach yourself.

He knows his stuff, but doesn't know how to put it into his own words very well. Really friendly guy and can come off as a bit awkward. He gave us 5 tests and the highest grade I got on a test was a C, but I did all of homework (all online) and did well on the homework. I wish I would've read the book more and maybe I would've gotten an A.

He seems confused and gets lost frequently, which makes his class difficult to follow. Take Physics I it with Bahr.
