Comment:

Very knowledgeable and interesting man. Lectures are a bit dull and boring. Sit up front as he talks quitely. The course material for the 1t half is unclear but it gets better in the 2nd half. An easy good grade if you come to class. There's no instructions on how to write the essay questions on the exam so write as much as possible. Great overall.

Before taking this course, I thought this would have been a breeze. He's very soft-spoken so make sure you sit in the front. He doesn't explain what he wants in his essays/quizzes so be prepared to study everything! There was no final exam so that was a good thing.

This is one of those classes where you can pass with not putting in a lot of effort..attendance of class is very vital as there is no tutorial and the test and quizzes are based on his lectures..best of all there was no pressure..2 balanced exams throughout the year and 2 small quizzes..sit at the front to take good notes as hes very soft spoken

Prof. Van Esterik's class is a pleasure to attend. He's freaking hularious and the content is so interesting. He's very accomodating if you have any issues (Ie: belong to the PDP or LDP). Makes the class a 10/10 and it's too bad there are not more profs like him! Sit in the front row, he's soft spoken.

At first I was very annoyed with this class, eventually it grew on me, and become one of my fav classes, and the most influential. You need to take a lesson in voice so you can speak clearly, with that done, you will be great.

How this man is allowed to teach is beyond me. I assume somewhere Ph.D.'s are conferred in the mail and he received his by cutting an ad out of a ****graphy magazine. He claims the sum of Nazism can be understood as an attempt to revitalise Nordic myth!
