Wagner is brilliant and challenges you. I took Calculus before and earned an A, which really helped me in this course. He tells you which questions will be on the exam and how you will be graded. Homework assignments count as extra credit and he scaled every exam. Lectures can be hard to follow but he is available during office hours. Study!!

Basically one of the hardest classes Ive taken. Dont miss class much or you will get lost. Hard to read hand writing but just go to his office hours. Man will teach at WSU forever. 3 exams is all you get. Hopefully he never teaches this class again, just so much math. In general he is very smart but poor at explaining hard concepts. Good luck!

Wagner knows his stuff but is a horrible teacher. Can barely make out what he writes on the board and goes fast. Does't know how to use a computer, stopped using a typewriter last year. If you miss a class you are screwed. Wagner would be a good teacher if he taught in the 1960s.

He's clearly a smart guy, but there is no reason for his class to be so hard! He expects you to know very minute things about what he lectures on, and note taking is hard because you seriously cannot read his handwriting sometimes. Going to him for extra help helps a bit but it is definitely really hard to get into his teaching style.

Really bad handwriting, unclear lectures and intense exams. Has to curve 20 points for the class average to be bearable. 3 exams, no homework sounds good but he gives no study guides and says that the exams are on what we talked about in class. He's a good person but really old school. Has no home computer or cellphone so he can be hard to reach.

Worst professor I have had. Class is based on 3 exams that you have no way of studying for. Out of 30 kids, 3 would get A's with insane curves (like 20 point). Terrible explaining material and nearly impossible to take notes from. Made a very good class horrible.

Your grade is based on 3 tough exams and NOTHING ELSE. The book is useless because the only things on the exam are lectured in class. Upon asking for help on what to study for the exams, the only thing he told me was "everything from ___ to ___". If you are a bad test taker like me, avoid taking this class with him.

Wagner is the man! He definitely has dry humor, but he really knows his stuff. Just go to class, take good notes, ask questions, and study before the exam .you will be fine. HE IS THERE FOR YOU FOR HELP .so make sure to see him after class. He will tell you how to prepare for the exams, and you will pass.

Worst class I've taken. This guy knows his stuff but doesn't know how to teach it. Classes are BORING lectures in which he makes terrible jokes. Nice guy but trying to get some extra help is almost impossible (unless you're a girl). No homework, only 3 tough exams. Good news is he gives an essay format exam as an option.

NOt a very good teacher, take him if you're good at testing but he will not give extra credit or try to help you pass if you're failing. Grades on 3 tests no homework and he's constantly trailing off in class. Handwriting looks like heiroglyphics, over not very good for a learning style that needs an interactive teacher.

Overall great professor. Goes kinda fast in class but will break anything down for you when asked. Has lots of office hours and will tell you in detail what you need to study. Not to much homework and its all for extra credit. Has a dry but very funny sense of humors. If you hate puns stay away.

Wagner is funny as hell and is more than willing to help if you need it. However, He lectures to his floor and almost never makes eye contact. I would not recommend taking the class unless you take great notes and are willing to listen to him lecture at a brisk pace. Try not to get discouraged if you don't understand everything he sais

Wagner is a nice guy, but if you are not a good test taker DO NOT take his class. His class is strictly graded on his 3 tests. He does scale the grades, but if you like to have a grade boosted by HW and participation don't take his class. He is helpful if you talk to him outside of class, I found it hard to follow what he was saying in class.

Professor Wagner is by far one of my favorites. His teaching manner is strictly lecture, so if you do not have a genuine interest in the subject matter you will find him extremely boring. However, the man is a genius, and he goes over the material step-by-step. He has a dry sense of humor but it's charming. His only fault is he is a NY Yankees fan!

wagner is a cool guy. kind of odd. REALLY SLOPPY HAND WRITING AND ITS HARD TO TAKE NOTES. But he will clarify anything and he refers everything to BEER AND PIZZA AND DVDs. Other than that he knows what hes talking about. Im a pretty big stoner and i got an A so he cant be that tough haha

Wagner is a great teacher... if you're an econ major. Can be difficult to get used to with some odd jokes, excessive wincing, and love for old music (plays music videos before class). No attendence policy, no homework, just take notes and take 3 tests. He's really helpful too. But if you're not interested in econ, dont take him... or econ at all.
