Johnnie is such a great guy! Class is a little dull if you aren't super into theatre, but that being said, I learned a lot from his class. He is such a sweet guy you wouldn't want to disappoint him. A bit of work just for gen-ed, but I'd say worth it for Johnnie.

I found this class super boring, but definitely go to class, its only MW, and its way easier to learn the boring info from him than try to read it in a textbook. You also have to do 45 hours of crew work, which sucks and takes up valuable evening/weekend time, but was super easy. Johnnie is also a great guy and super willing to help anyone out

Class is easy, but the assignments can take awhile. There aren't a ton, but you'd definitely have less work taking thea 100 instead of Johnnie's class. If you do take this class, know that an A is a 97 (Johnnie is a SUPER easy grader, 9.8/10 on assignments is easy) and you'll spend 45 hours doing crew in lieu of Friday class. Johnnie is awesome.

Fantastic professor and great guy overall. Super nice and is willing to help you with anything. Really loves what he does and it shows. Has you go about the theatre space and learn by doing. If you are a theatre person, take his classes. You won't regret it. Being on a build/light crew with him is a lot of fun and highly recommended.

Took Theatre Tech with Johnnie, and he is the nicest person I have ever met! He's my favorite professor by far. Easy tests. You get to build the sets for plays & musicals. Such a nice person to work with!!! I recommend this class for anyone.

Johnnie is seriously one of the nicest people I know. If you show interest and talk to him he really knows his stuff. He's kinda disorganized with class lectures but I recommend going anyway as a lot of the exam material is lecture based. Crew hours count for 33% of the grade so make sure you get them done. This is not a passive learning class.

Avoid this class, crew hours are the biggest load of it ever. Its ridicuolous out of class hours for a 3 credit class. Dont even go to class and tests are the most pathetic excuses ever. he as a person is as flaky as they get. BORING TERRIBLE CLASS
