Dr. Vinson has done nothing for the program in the last 10 years. I am happy he is retireing because maybe this band can improve. With the exception of the 1% of society who put up with his BS he treats everyone like they do not deserve his time. Dr. Vinson is incredible. I've learned so much from him in my time here at AU. Yes, he is a wee bit stubborn...but ALWAYS willing to hear someone out. He's the very reason I'm here, and I love the man dearly. He and Dr. Smith are big factors in our department being afloat.

He ran off Mr. Breaux!! (who was one of the better things that happened to this band). If he would just be a little more flexible and understanding and not so doggedly set in his ways the music department would benefit tremendously. He needs to remember that campus band is a joke so stop trying to teach it as if we were the Atl Symphony Orchestra!

The fossil of the music department. He is incredibly set in his ways and doesn't care to bend them. The only people that give him good ratings is the tau beta sigma sisters and that's just to suck up to him (seeing as he's their advisor). Very strict and calls people out all the time. Retirement?
