Class was overall very straight forward. Gives a great opportunity to get hands on with various Environmental Education assignments. Do the work on time and you will get a rather good grade. Tests are difficult and long, very hard to finish.

best professor in my college career so far, i wish he taught other professors how to teach. he really cares about us and loves what he does. i recommend. he is always willing to help too.

I felt that Hooper was unreasonable in his grading. I put much time into this class. Although I had enough points to get an A- in his class based on my work, I received a B+ being ONE POINT shy due to a subjective participation grade. Really? Can anyone be that anal? He definitely likes to limit the amount of A's he gives out.

Some days he's cool, some days he's ridiculous. He talks about himself A LOT and often repeats the same stories 2 or 3 times. Tries to act very humble but is pretty arogant in reality. Class is a joke but gives very hard tests. Despite all this, he's a generally nice guy.

Hooper loves to tell repetitive stories about himself. He is anal at grading papers. He loves to tell how the real world is despite being stuck in academia for 40 years. If you take his class be prepared to suck up for a good grade. I get good grades but do not enjoy his teaching style. He is very smart but thinks he is even smarter than he is.

I guess I didn't like the class more than I didn't like him. He did give the class some biased material. Most of the people in the class were jokes and don't seem to have any real grip on the world or how nature should be treated. I guess that's what you get for taking a class you think is going to be about the environment in the RECR dept...

"Hoop" is a great teacher who is very committed to his work. He goes out of his way to help his students with any of their questions. Above all he is very enthusiastic about the material which make going to class more enjoyable.
