SOOO BORING!!! His tests are on vocabulary which you are given the words ahead of time straight from the books. He expects you to participate but tends to skip you when he doesn't know your name over half way through the semester. You should get at least a B if you show up and do well on the tests.

Pretty boring class. We had 3 tests that made up our grade along with an attendance/participation portion. The tests were easy (writing paragraphs over vocabulary words) and he gives you a set of words to study and look over ahead of time. He can be picky when grading though. The class wasn't hard at all an A or B definitely isn't difficult to make

Dont take! He gives 3 essay tests that he grades tediously and takes off for unrelevant details. Then the last 25% of grade comes from mandatory participation, which is undefined and questionable whether he even knows the names of everyone in the class. I got an A on every test but somehow got an A- in the class even though I participated everyday.

Super boring, but, to his credit, most students didn't care about the subject, so it was hard to stir up discussion. Participation is graded and must attend class. 4 7-page papers determine your grade; I got a 19/20 each time by making it longer than required. Gives TONS of online reading, but you can easily skip it: just focus on the main books.

Okay, anyone saying this class was hard is just stupid. There's nothing else I can say. It's college, grow up. He gives you study guides which explain what's going to be on the tests and he grades very fairly on his papers if you can, you know, write basic English sentences. He's a good prof. I'm taking his classes again.

I took this Theology 111 Honors class and was worried at first because I had never taken a Theology before. However, my apprehensions were totally unfounded. Tan led this class discussion style, gave us only three books to read the whole semester and they were actually controversial and good. Gives extra credit. Take him if you want an easy A.

In the past, this teacher has been known to be difficult so dont be folled by the EASY rating. He is one of the easiest teachers ever. 4 tests, matching, and he gives you study guides. 15 questions! just study before the test, and post on the blog everyday, easy A. and i learned about respecting other religions too.

World Religion- He is SO ridiculously easy (4 tests that are matching terms) he lets you know the terms before the test, does take attendance but you can use class time to do other work and you will still get a High A, plus he gives a ton of extra credit opportunities, he is very boring tho, worth it for a needed credit

Nice guy. Easy class. No papers, three or four matching tests, make a study guide and you'll be fine. It's not completely necessary to read but he's big on attendance and participation. You can tell he really loves Theology so I thought he made the class pretty interesting.

Islam. Not much work besides reading, and he is a nice guy if you make it clear that you do the work and care about the class. Takes attendance very seriously: Actually shuns the kids who rarely show up. Helped me on the term paper a whole lot. Only problem with this class is that he talks way too much and is boring a lot.

watch documentaries a lot. a couple are interesting but most are boring. his accent is hard to understand but u get used to it. only grades are four tests and participation. the tests are multiple choice but he picks tricky words. they're harder than one would think.

He can beboring you watch a lot of movies he takes attendance 5 min early if u want a easy A take his class. Test are matching 20 questions. He gives you a study guide as well.
