Incredible teacher who cares about his students and their improvement. He is blunt and straight-forward, but is honest and won't give false praise. He will, however, praise when something is done to his liking. He's huge on making big choices and taking risks. Always keep trying new things and looking for ways to improve and you'll do great.

Jonathan is one of the best teachers I've ever had. He's not an easy teacher, because you're not allowed to coast. Show up, work hard, and learn. He does NOT play favorites, he says if you want to learn, he will teach you. Brilliant director, great advisor, wonderful teacher. He's awesome!

Jonathan is like the **** uncle that would come to family functions after being in rehab for a week. He's just there, cool like the other side of the pillow until he just snaps! And you're like whoa... just take the vodka and go back to your safe place. I love him dearly.

I had jonathan for acting and directing. I was in design, so i wasn't particularly good at either of his classes. but i showed up and did my best, and that was enough. he's a good guy and a really great prof to keep in contact with post graduation. j dub rocks!

Excellent class! Only 3 requirements: Seeing productions, going to class, performing original production. Class is a lot of fun, and he is AWESOME. Very nice guy, really knows his stuff.
