Really god teacher it's just that theirs a lot of content to learn in the course make sure to review after every class. Make sure to do the homeworks and attendd class cause that's a free 20%. And he posts to ppt online so that's great if you can't make it to class. If you review the pats you should be able to pass the test with flying colours.

Out of all my 4 years here, he is the only teacher to keep us for the complete 3hrs without giving us a break. This goes for every class in the semester. Not one cut short! Besides that he's good and interesting.

If I could recommend any course, it would be this one. Very easy, but make sure you go to every class. What is better than learning Geography from someone who has travelled the world? Very very funny too. Somewhat disorganised, but it won't affect the quality of teaching. Just great.

Dr. Virchez is a wonderful and the most interesting professor that I have had at Laurentian University. When this course was done, we knew Africa's countries, capitals and population and the history that accompanied most countries. I have recommended this course to everyone I know.

Very difficult to get a solid answer from, did not equally discuss things with all students, no one knew what was going on. One never knows how he grades assignments because he does not give a mark only a grade, hard to discuss marks. I can not beleive that he is a professor at LU. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Only makes u do a couple projects, and easy marker. Very knowledgeful and willing to give students extensions if requested. Approachable, kind, and funny ways of explaining himsef. Will copy the notes onto a CD as opposed to buying a book. Amazing prof all together. (watch out for pop exam)

Very travelled and able to give you advice on "real life" geog. Stories are amazing and allow you to see that geog is happening in mexico, canada, usa, etc. most open prof i have ever had...not ashamed of his mistakes made in life.
