Bockus is incredibly fun and easy. He does not believe in tests or quizzes. We wrote four miniature essays, the longest one being 1500 words max. The class is great for those who hate English and who are not overachievers, but if you like literature, I hope you like All in the Family and paper airplane making more. He is incredibly funny.

i have bockus for english honors 4 at wesley chapel high school. i'm going to USF next year and thinking about taking bockus again! i'm interested in prof. duesling... but if you haven't taken bockus yet go for it! he is so awesome, gives small amounts of work but its always interesting. incoorperates some philosophy which is cool. amazing guy!

Really awesome teacher! Very helpful both in and out of class, and if I wasn't lazy, I'd have an A+ instead of a B+. Just remember, once you've missed one journal, you're bound to miss more. DON'T SKIP THE JOURNALS.

I was blessed to have early registration; even as an Honors student I still chose Mr. Bockus everyone for both ENC 1 & 2. Although we didn't use the textbooks much, I found that using them raised my comprehension of both the material and his seemingly loose syllabus. You won't even realize you're doing work! **He's a sweetheart, too!**

He's the coolest teacher! He's very easy to understand and has a fun and enjoyable learning environment. He's helpful and always on your side! I definitly would recommend him to anyone, I wish I could have him as a teacher for every class. I actually love going!

Bockus is the coolest teacher at USF!! Not only does he make his lectures fun and interesting, you'll actually want to become involved with the class... He doesn't give very much homework, but when he does it's usually fun and a lot of time, in groups. He is hilarious and a huge goof ball! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HIM!! oh, and food days are fun too!!

Not only will you succeed in this class, but you will also WANT to go. He brings up great discussions, funny jokes, and loves to assist in anyway individually with students. I love me some Bockus. Not only is he a very intelligent guy and finds interesting assignments to help you out with greater concepts but he's a friend. I went Bowling with him and 2 fellow class mates a couple of weeks into class. He's a very funny, very lovable, very tall teacher. :)
