Dr. Dahms is the most engaging and knowledgeable professor at Hood College. He simply knows how to teach college students. He has a fabulous sense of humor and an extensive background in economics. He has an endless repertoire of stories and fascinating facts. Best of all, he brings his classes snacks. LOVE this professor.

Probably the nicest prof I've had so far, he's very intelligent and nice, and has something of a quirky sense of humor. Very helpful, very interesting class. Just make sure you can stay awake, the material is a bit dry.

One of the best professors I've ever had. I put off taking economics as long as I could because I thought I'd hate it. Dr Dahms change that completely. He made the class exciting and interesting. Now I cant wait to take more econ!

I just took the final. I think I'm going to major in econ now that I have had Dr. Dahms. This is my seconc class with him. He makes even the boring stuff relevant to my interests in the world. Dr. Dahms is a cool, funny professor. Also, he looks like a professor.

Perhaps one of the most influential teachers I have ever had. You don't just learn about Econ in his class, you learn about life and how to think. He is exceptionally wise and thoughtful. Anyone who has the opportunity to take class with him is truly lucky and will be enriched by his class.

Macro econ rocks! I liked the big picture. I also liked not being spoon fed the text. We were required to read, but the class went over more stuff. Dr. Dahms encouraged me to keep learning and challenging the status quo. The TA said that he sends students to grad school every year, more than any other professor.

I had this professor for quite a few econ classes. I have to say that he wasn't always clear at times and he didn't teach the book, but he taught me something more valuable- how to think criticaly. He challenged me in every way. I am no longer his student, but I take what he taught me on to the real world, something more valuable than good grades.
