I had Dr. Gregory for ARTH 102 & 103, and he knows what he's talking about. Dr. Gregory really has such a vast knowledge of art history. You really have to pay attention because his slides don't have words, just the artwork, name, artist and year. He'll go on tangents about unimportant things sometimes, but I learned so much from his classes.

Dr. Gregory is incredibly pretentious, and I almost dropped his class in the first week because he did nothing but rant confusingly. However, I'm glad I didn't drop his class because his lectures are amazing and very interesting. There are only 2 exams and 1 easy paper, but attendance is mandatory. He is a good prof but not a great people person.

I love this guy! I had him for more than one class, and he is so understanding and chill. He's the man. If you are going through a bad time, he is so understanding and doesn't put unnecessary pressure on you. He will do his best to work with you.

The professor really knows what he is teaching. The 2 exams are pretty much based on the lecture rather than the textbook. Make sure you go to the lectures and take good notes. The paper is also pretty straightforward too. by the way, he absolutely HATES cellphones so just don't use it during class.

An incredible lecturer with a vast knowledge of the art world. Even if you have zero interest in art history, he will get you interested. Tests and essays are easy if you show up to class as they are mostly based on the lectures rather than readings.

He's a great lecturer and I enjoyed listening his lectures. Outside of the class he was a mess. My friends and I emailed him throughout the term once or twice each and he almost never responded. I asked to meet him to review my essay and he told me to email it to him. I did and never got a response even after asking him after class one day.

Okay, hes a really nice man, and clearly very knowledgeable, but he RAMBLES like crazy!! he is easily taken off track, and it makes understanding his lectures somewhat difficult. I had a 3hr. class with him from 6-9 so maybe i am biased, if i were you, i would look for a shorter class earlier in the day with him, then he is proabably great.

Really hard teacher. His tests consists of paintings that you never cover in class but he expects you to recognize who the artist is because we covered like one painting by that artist. If you're not interested in art history, avoid him at all costs.

Whether your interested in art history or not, I would definitely recommend taking class with Dr. Gregory. It is easy to see that he is VERY knowledgeable and passionate about art history. He occasionally makes jokes which are very funny, however his lectures can sometimes be boring. Tests are easy as long as you study. HE IS EXTREMELY HOT!!!!!

Awesome teacher! Very fair and loves the subject matter; a good lecturer and makes class interesting. Grade based on 2 exams and 1 paper. Exams are easy if you just come to class and pay attention (he doesn't use the textbook much). Gives out a study sheet and tells you what concepts are important to know so you'll do well as long as you study.

AWESOME. that man made me love a subject I previously had no interest in- and not only b/c he was sooooooooooooo HOT! (Ask anyone in my class, I had it bad for Dr. Gregory) He is so passionate about art history, and he always had a new perspective on a piece that everyone thought was definitely one thing, and he always had another explanation for it. The man is the best art teacher in the whole world!

Dr. Gregory is far and away the best professor I have ever had. He's brilliant, knowledgable, passionate and, oh yes, very hot (all my friends, except the jealous guys, agree). He has changed the way I think about things, especially images.
