Very difficult class. If you read the entire book front to back at your house and show up on day of tests you will be perfectly alright. Explains nothing during class, just general chit chat about daily life. Very Interesting guy but super condescending and horrible teacher.

HANDS DOWN BEST PSYCHOLOGY PROFESSOR! Yes you HAVE to read your text book because your tests are based not only on minor discussion in class but the material in the book. He is willing to help you & work with you. If you want to learn psychology MANGANELLO is you man. He retires at the end of spring semester tho! Will be greatly missed!

He his a good, interesting teacher. However he is a bit arrogant and expects the best from you. His tests and quizzes are very hard and you need to be reading the book at all times if you want to at least pass.

Mr. M is a great teacher! The class had interesting discussions and his stories help tie in the subject matter to real life. Yes he is HARD, he gives essay tests (4) and an essay. You need to study and read the chapters. This is a true college course and take it if you want to challenge yourself.

The best teacher I ever had. He is so smart, and absolutely brilliant! His life and his thoughts are incredible, and this class blew me away. I wish he taught every subject, and if he were "king" the world would be a much better place.

He is awesome! He is a great teacher and overall person. He knows his stuff and you learn a lot! I also find him hilarious! The class wasn't easy but this is college. He grades fair, point blank. If you're in college to actual learn and do work take this class! I will be taking him again next spring. Sad next year is his last year here though :(

He doesn't tell you what you need to study so you're expected to know 6 chapters for a test. I also thought he was really boring. I do not recommend this class or professor.

Great guy who makes you think about the psychology of everyday life. He tells personal anecdotes for 90% of the class, mentions about 10% of what you need to know, and leaves you to your own devices for the rest. If you buckle down to read the textbook thoroughly you'll do well, if not this isnt the class for you.

very hard! paying attention isnt enough. doesnt tell you what you need to study so you have to read 6 chapters and still cant remeber what information is needed for exams.. easiest assignment was the experiment with children. late with returning grades. great guy and makes you think differently about situations but still alot of hard work

Mr. Manganello is one the greatest teachers I've ever had. His class is tough ONLY if you plan on not attending and doing his assignments. His class lectures are hysterical and keep you entertained. Great decision if you take him as your professor

Mr. Manganello is an awesome teacher, and an even more awesome human being. Be prepared to do the work he assigns -- the projects as well as the textbook readings. He is, above all else, the epitome of fairness. If you don't know what "epitome" means, and you don't care to research the meaning, consider finding an "easier" teacher.

Very Very hard teacher but you learn SO much! I worked really really hard and got a B, really close to getting an A. There is a difference between a bad teacher and a hard teacher. he is hard! MUST understand the material. Making practice tests help sooo much! all tests are Blue Book open answers, no multiple choice.BEST teacher EVER!

Engaging and funny. Must READ text. Expects all foundation from Gen PSY ingrained. Tests were all short answer/essay. I felt he was a great teacher, but I wasn't prepared from Gen PSY.
