Under no circumstance should you take this man as an undergrad student. He doesn't teach and he doesn't care. My class average on tests were in the 40s every time. I'm an A student, and I was at best making 70s. His tests are ridiculous and irrelevant to the material covered, nothing like the homework or any example given. He's awful. Avoid.

I have heard a lot of horriable things when it comes to Ojo.. but as far as his power electronics class, he was a very just professor. If you can get your hands on somebodys file from the previous semesters it will help a lot when it comes to what to expect on his test and quizes. His grading scale was also very giving!

I am a senior in the EE department and he is the worst teacher I have had in my college career. He is very intelligent but should not be a teacher. The only reason he is still a teacher is because he brings in money for the college. Don't bother going to his office either he is of no help.

Comment:

Dr. Ojo means well, but his accent is so thick it is hard to understand him. Don't trust your notes because you will often find that equations are wrong. Test are fair, you just have to get used to descriptive questions that sometimes require an in depth answer to get full credit.

Horrible. Can't understand 80% of what he's saying. Doesn't want you to come to his office. Talks down to anyone who asks a question. Kind of flips through the book then writes some stuff on the board for class. Prepare to teach yourself the whole class. It's not a difficult subject, but it would be easier if you actually had a teacher.

If you take his clss save yourself the trouble and do not list en to a word he says. Do NOT take notes. Just sit quitely in the back and read your book. He does test over the book. You just have to not listen to him which is easy because he is hard to understand in the first place.

Definately not as bad as I thought he was going to be at the beginning of the semester. Tests follow the examples & he gives bonus credit like crazy. 20 bonus points on the final for going to a 1 hour seminar!
