Comment:

I took Neurobiology of Stress with Dr. Wood. I really honestly enjoyed the class. He is a smart man, a bit disorganized, but an overall nice guy. I took pretty detailed notes in class, and I did exceptionally well in the course. Too bad he retired this year.

Comment:

I've taken 3 classes with Dr. Wood and got A's in his classes, he has no structure whatsoever to his classes (not even a syllabus) and he is aware of this but will not change the lecture style. He makes the test up a couple of hours before class ON exam day-my advice is to ask him to make a take-home exam, which he sometimes will do.

I will admit Dr. wood is an extremely smart professor, but I would not recommend him. He is so unorganized, that I could NEVER follow his lecutures. I studied every stupid thing in his notes, and couldn't do well on the exams. Maybe I am bitter, but I swear, he should at least give students an idea of what he wants.
