Joy is really lovely. She is sweet and very respectful and supportive. On top of all of this, she is a great teacher it's obvious that she knows what she's talking about when it comes to education. I hope I get to take another class with her soon.

Total pro. She teaches a methods class where she teaches the methods by using them while she's teaching you to use them. She's great. I recommend Simmons highly to motivated students who'd like to transition to a teaching career via the MAT program. Her methods class is a bit tough, but she's great.
