Everything was done in a discussion format online, with maybe 3 short papers throughput the year. A lot of the posts just require you giving an your opinion, lots of fun to debate with other students

She assigns a lot of reading but not necessarily in the course textbook; you may want to ask before you invest in the the textbook. The reading material can be found in the library or online, or in other Philosophy texts. Participation will help your grade, but not if you just repeat your own opinions instead of the philosopher's. Study!

Professor Prindle was a very good example of teachers should be! She was very clear about what we needed to have done in the class in order to have an A. If you study very thoroughly for the midterm, things just kind of a sail from there. I wouldn't suggest getting the book though, we didn't use it at all. I would definitely recommend her!

If you need a philosophy class, take this one with her online!!! Super easy and she seems very smart. You do have to read some documents that can be lengthy but the actual writing part is clear and easy to form your own opinion.

Professor Prindle is a good teacher. Her class was a little boring but it just depends how into the topic you are. If you show up, you'll pass. No final if you miss less than two classes. All the work was very easy and little to no homework.

Prof. Prindle is such a sweet lady! She seems scatterbrained at times, but for the most part knows what she's teaching. You can always talk to her if you need any clarification on assignments, her personality is very approachable. I always found that if you put in some effort, you would get an A.

If you're looking for one of the easiest online classes at Broome, here it is. There is one assignment per week, in which you read a page of notes and write a paragraph response. Then you write a response to two other student's responses. Thats it. As long as you answer something slightly coherent you will get a 100. Easy A. Take this course.

Took this class online, it was a BREEZE. It is probably the easiest class I have taken at Broome but at the same time you still learn some pretty interesting stuff! The discussions are simple and easy, there are only a few very short writing assignments, the grading is very relaxed and you do not have to buy a book. Definitely take this class!

This was a great class, Professor Prindle comes up with interesting topics and her discussions were a lot of fun. If you attend all the discussions, you can probably get through without spending too much time on the readings, since nearly everything is covered in class, but I think you'll get more out of the course if you go ahead and do those.

I absolutely loved this class taught by Professor Prindle. The materials she used were interesting and easy to understand. If you do the work, and participate in the discussions, you will succeed in her class. We didn't use the textbook at all, so I would check with her first before buying or renting it. By far the best philosophy professor at BCC!

She does not seem bright at first but she is brilliant & knows the material extremely well. You can not make up any quizzes though so you have to be there. There is always extra credit. If you miss no more than 2 classes you are exempt from the final and if you miss more you can go to phil club to make it up. U must study for quizzes! Get the book

This class was one of the easiest classes I've taken. At first I thought it would be hard and boring but she makes it easier to understand and interesting. Really nice person and helpful. Although she got mad once because one of the students was being rude to her for distributive behavior and ended class early due to that and due to them arguing.
